A small day,
in a small home.
Day stays I take rarely, and only for dogs already on regular walks with me. Two or three small dogs in the house at most.
A day stay here looks like a quiet day.
Two or three small dogs. Sofas, beds, a small enclosed garden. Two short walks built in. Most dogs nap more than they play - small dogs don't need eight hours of stimulation.
I only take dogs already on regular walks with me. They know me, the routine, and the house. No cold starts.

The honest
answers.
“Why isn't day care your main thing?”
Walking is. Day care I take on rarely — only for dogs already on regular walks with me. It keeps the house calm and the numbers small.
“How many dogs are with you at once?”
Two or three small dogs at most. Usually it's two. I'd rather turn a day stay down than overload the home — that's not fair on the dogs already there.
“Does my dog need to be on regular walks?”
Yes. I want them to know me, the routine and the house before they spend a whole day. Starting cold on a long day is unsettling for any dog.
“Will they actually be walked?”
Two short walks built into every day, paced to the slowest dog. The middle of the day is for naps — small dogs sleep more than people think.
Day stays start with regular walks.
Walks start with a meet.
Send a message about walking first. If we get on, day stays come later when your dog already knows the home.
