Plain-language summary of how I work. These terms apply to every walk and stay booked through TiffsPaws. Tiff will replace the placeholder copy with her own T&Cs before launch.
1. Meet & greet first
Every new dog requires a free meet & greet before any walks or stays are booked. Bookings cannot be confirmed until your dog has been met and approved.
2. Small dogs only
TiffsPaws cares for small dogs only - typically up to roughly 12kg. I reserve the right to decline a booking where a dog's size, temperament or health is outside what I can safely manage.
3. Booking & cancellation
- Bookings are confirmed once accepted in your client account.
- Cancellations more than 24 hours before the booking are free.
- Cancellations within 24 hours may be charged at 50% of the booking fee at my discretion.
- Repeated short-notice cancellations may end the working relationship.
4. Payment
You can pay on the day, by monthly invoice, or upfront via card (Stripe). Invoices are payable within 7 days of issue.
5. Health, vaccinations & insurance
- Your dog must be up to date on core vaccinations and flea/worm treatment.
- You must disclose any medical conditions, behavioural issues or medications.
- TiffsPaws is fully insured. In an emergency I will seek veterinary attention and contact you immediately. You are responsible for veterinary fees unless caused by my negligence.
6. Off-lead
Dogs only go off-lead with written consent and once recall has been proven on multiple lead-on walks. Off-lead time is at my discretion based on the location, weather and the dog on the day.
7. Keys & access
Where I hold keys, they are stored without identifying information and returned on request when our arrangement ends.
8. Photos & social media
I send photos privately after walks. I will only post your dog's photo to social media (e.g. Instagram) with your explicit consent.
9. Severe weather
In dangerous heat, ice or storms I may shorten or replace a walk with a home visit. You will not be charged extra for these adjustments.
10. Liability
I take reasonable care at all times. I am not liable for pre-existing conditions, behaviour you have not disclosed, or damage caused by your dog to my home or equipment beyond fair wear and tear.
11. Termination
Either party may end the arrangement at any time. Outstanding bookings will be honoured or refunded.
